Private birthday dinner party celebration for Jackie and family, Portsmouth, Hampshire

Our latest dinner party had us catering for 13 guests, celebrating a special birthday at home in Hampshire. Tastes were simple yet precise, requesting an elegant roast lamb dinner for the main course with a good old apple pie amongst the desserts, both being great comfort food for all. Having cooked for Jackie before for a surprise birthday last year it was a huge pleasure to be able to do so again so soon and the day went fabulously. Being welcomed so warmly and receiving fabulous feedback on all courses made for a fabulous Sunday! :)

Chef's decadent selection of canapes:


To Begin:

Cream of roasted butternut squash, coconut, chilli and lime soup,
Panko breaded sweet potato, 


Main-course:

Pan roasted rump of British lamb, slow braised neck fillet, confit of belly,
Fondant potatoes, roasted carrots, honey glazed parsnips,
buttered greens, spiced red cabbage, red wine gravy.


To Finish:

Trio of desserts:
Apple pie, sweet pastry, vanilla custard,

Private dinner party with Peter and Betty,

This weekend ChefGary and ChefMike travelled up together to cook for Peter and Betty in Hampshire, aiding to celebrate a very special wedding anniversary. One of our favourite tasting menus was served up for everyone, each course going down superbly with all the guests. It was a huge pleasure all round to create some fantastic food for such a grand occasion and we were both looked after extremely well. A fabulous evening all round and being offered some delicious red wine during the course of the evening was very much appreciated :)

Private Birthday Dinner Party, Rob and Shazzi, Dorset







This weekend ChefGary catered a superb private dinner party in Dorset, providig a gourmet and delicious tasting menu for four. Being a return visit to some wonderful guests it was a fabulous evening, celebrating a special birthday in the comfort of home. Prior to the evening, we selected some past favourite dishes for the main menu and then left it to fill the remainding courses in as a great surprise on the night. As always, Rob and Shazzi were perfect hosts and the dinner party was full of great food, an enjotable and affable ambience and decadent wines.
