Every dinner party catered is a fabulous experience but celebrating a wedding anniversary is always a little extra special and personal. Especially so when returning to cook for such a friendly couple as Steve and Julie in their lovely home in Dorset. Cooking a delightful and exciting tasting menu for a table of ten jovial guests made for an impelling evening with enjoyable atmosphere, fantastic food and delicious wines. Made to feel more than welcome throughout the evening, it really was up in the midst of my most awesome dinner parties. With a caricaturist drawing portraits through the evening and the lovely Sisi providing a most decadent and intricate carving for the centre of the table it was a perfect celebration.
