Private Dinner Party, TipToe, Hampshire



I travelled to the beautiful and quaint village of Tiptoe on a sunny Wednesday afternoon this August to cook up some delicious treats for 8 good friends in their lovely home. Arriving about two hours prior to serving canapes to give me time to unpack and set up, the decision of eating in or outside being the only tough decision on the day! Opting for drinks and Canapes at the front of the house with the main event being held in the dining room with the patio doors open was the perfect solution. I had great pleasure in serving up a delicious King Prawn starter with Sweet Chilli and Mango and a more contemporary main-dish of Pan-Fried Lamb Rack with slow Braised Shoulder, Crushed Jersey royals and fresh Vegetables. Finishing off with my trademark "Trio of Desserts" was a splendid end to the Lunch Party, Basil, Deidre and their friends being perfect Dinner guests throughout.

Spring Onion, Red Pepper and fresh Coriander Salad,

Assiette of Lamb, 
Pan seared Lamb Cutlets, slow Braised Shoulder, Red Wine Gravy,
Crushed Jersey Royals, Butter, Mint and Tarragon,
Glazed Carrots, Asparagus Spears, Green Beans,


To Finish:

Trio of Desserts:
Mango and Lime Sorbet,
