Private Dinner Party, Roger Lamb, Southampton,





With four Dinner Parties this week it has been a brilliant and busy one! It was especially exciting as Thursday's Birthday Dinner Party was in Romsey where I used to go to school many years ago!;) It was a real pleasure to be part of Roger's Big 40th Celebration as I have catered for him previously on several occasions but this was the first time at his home with his family. We already had  a great menu planned and I arrived about 5pm to set up and serve canapes for 7. It was great to see the three young boys of the house eating their dinner before the adults got their table back and I set out the cutlery and napkins when the boys were getting ready for bed. I went on to serve some of my favourite ingredients, including King Prawns and Duck, before finishing off with a trio of desserts. A fabulous evening all round. ;)








Menu



Canapes:

Bruschetta, Tomato, Red Onion, Coriander and Lime Salsa

To Begin:

Saute King Prawns, Red Chilli, Mango slices, Lime pickled Mango, Mango Puree,



Main-Course:


Trio of Roast Duck, Redcurrant sauce and Red Wine Gravy,
Pan roasted Breast, Confit of Shank, Duck Pie,
Dauphinoise Potatoes, Carrot Puree, Glazed Carrots, Green Beans,



To Finish:

Trio of Deserts:
Iced Pistachio, White Chocolate and Mint Parfait,
