Private Dinner Party for Sally and Friends near Romsey



We cooked a fabulous five course dinner in Sally and Angus's lovely home for a table of twelve near Romsey on the run up to this Christmas. With every course going down fabulously, it was a great evening of food along with plenty of splendid and fastidious wines to match. Canapes were enjoyed with some fine bubbles before seating to enjoy the remainder of the meal which was served over about two hours at a nice relaxed pace. Another successful and most enjoyable dinner party all around :)

Canapes:

Pave of Pan-Seared Fillet Steak, Red Wine Gravy,
Ragout of Slow Braised Oxtail and Individual Brisket Pie,
Dauphinoise Potatoes, Caramelized Onions, Glazed Carrots, Asparagus Spears, Wild Mushrooms,


To Finish:

Vanilla and Honeycomb Creme Brulee,
Honeycomb, Meringue. Strawberry, Vanilla Tuille, Caramel,
