Private Dinner Party with ChefGary and ChefMike, Southampton






This weekend hosted a fabulous dinner party with ChefMike and I both cooking an array of enticing and decadent canapes followed by three super tasty courses in Chandlers Ford, Southampton. Jen was celebrating with work colleagues, enjoying the best of both worlds of having fantastic quality food enjoyed in the comfort of home and without having to lift a finger. Every course was well received and all the guests were a pleasure to cook for, making for another great evening. 















Menu 



Canapes:

Beetroot Crisp, Saint Agur, Saffron Poached Pear, Prune Ketchup,

To Begin:

Slow Cooked Crisp Pork Belly, Rillette of Pulled Ham Hock,
Asparagus Spears, Confit Duck Egg, Dijon, Sea Salt Crackling,


Main-Course:

Pave of Beef Fillet, Ragout of Braised Oxtail and Cheek, Caramelised Onions, 
Dauphinoise Potatoes, Wild Mushrooms, Roast Carrots, Greens, 
Red Wine Gravy,


To Finish:

Trio of Desserts:
Vanilla and Honeycomb Creme Brulee,

Toasted Pecan and Chocolate Brownie, Peanut Butter Ice Cream,

Mulled Plum, Apple, Fig and Oat Crumble.
