Private Birthday Dinner Party, Rob and Shazzi, Dorset







This weekend ChefGary catered a superb private dinner party in Dorset, providig a gourmet and delicious tasting menu for four. Being a return visit to some wonderful guests it was a fabulous evening, celebrating a special birthday in the comfort of home. Prior to the evening, we selected some past favourite dishes for the main menu and then left it to fill the remainding courses in as a great surprise on the night. As always, Rob and Shazzi were perfect hosts and the dinner party was full of great food, an enjotable and affable ambience and decadent wines.

Chef's selection of decadent canapes:

Pan roasted fillet of British beef, garlic croute, chicken liver pate,
Dauphinoise potatoes, roasted carrots, asparagus spears,
Red wine gravy,

Trio of Desserts:
Strawberry, lemon curd and meringue "Mess"

Salted caramel and chocolate brownie, peanut butter ice cream,

Apple and caramelized fig oat crumble.
